I remember how I always dream myself being a beauty queen. Wearing sashes, wearing crown, receiving bouquet, awards, and others. Then everything became to reality.
The first time I joined a pageant, Ms. CBA 2014, I only got an award for being best in ramp. I didn't get a major award. I failed making it to the Top 5 meaning getting a chance to win any place is already crossed out. It was okay since it was my first time, that it was a once in a lifetime opportunity I have to enjoy. People around me gave their opinions. Others saying I'm a beauty queen but some says I wasn't born to be one. It was harsh because it was one of my dreams in life. I was torn between believing I can or what others say. Until another chance to prove something came— Mr. and Ms. JPIA 2015.
Winning the title was out of my expectations. I only asked God to guide me in every step and every twist I'll make; to let me show my capabilities to others; to help me value and remember the lessons I learned in life that can be applied in the Q & A portion.

Then finally the awarding of winners. The moment they announced the minor awards, the first and second runner up, I lost my hope. I told myself that this would be the last time I'll join, that the second time was already enough. But then they called number 5— my number. I smiled, walked, and thanked God because he let me prove myself that I can achieve an award like this. No words can express how grateful and thankful I am to everyone who supported me. To my friends, blockmates, family, especially to our Lord God. It was beyond amazing. Thank you!
