If you ask me what ballet is, it is art and beauty. Cleaned up my wardrobe today and came with an idea of blogging about things I 'loved' about my ballet life. Yes, loved. I'm not taking classes anymore, sad to say. And even though I no longer have weekends with ballet, at least I still have the heart of a passionate dancer.
1. I love being productive. My friends are out at the mall every weekend while I am staying inside the studio dancing.
2. I love eating the not-allowed foods after the show.
3. I love my mistakes that lead to corrections.
4. I love how my ballet-mates and I bond every break. Even during class hours. By bond, its means the cheating is included. Hahahaha!
5. I love how I feel my heart starts beating faster when holding my beginning pose of the dance.
6. I love the pain I get. Pain is a sign that you're doing it right.
7. I love how I get new dance clothes. Other than the cute colors and designs, they are just too comfortable to wear compare with jeans.
8. I love when everything finally comes together in stage!
9. I love my wavy just-took-out-my-bun hair.
10. I love when I dance on pointes and I can just feel a new blister is forming. Plus the bruises, callus, cracked nails and bleeding one. Pain it is.

11. I love the combination of tombe, pas de bourree, glissade, grand jete!!
12. I love wearing a leotard. No bra, no extra clothing. Just leotard.
13. I love when I dance so hard that my bun falls out.
14. I love dancing and how it relieves the pain I'm feeling.
Other than just seeing my tutus, I even tried them. Tutus with feathers remind me of Swan Lake. Hihi. I never had a chance to perform any dance related with swan lake. But if I will be given an opportunity, I love to portray Odette, the white swan. Such grace and beauty. The pictures above, I feel like one. Haha!
